A Contact Policy rule has two key parts:

Field	Description
Applies To	The system automatically sets this value to the Customer class for your application (e.g. PegaMKT-Data-Customer). This value must not be changed and is consequently not shown on the Create and Save As forms.
Contact Policy Name	Enter a unique name for the Contact Policy rule in the short description field. Tab or click the mouse pointer outside the field to populate the value for this key in the Identifier field.

Rule resolution

Full rule resolution applies to Contact Policy rules. When searching for Contact Policy rules, the system:

Filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions
Searches through ancestor classes in the class hierarchy for candidates when no matching rule is found in the starting class
Finds circumstance-qualified rules that override base rules
Finds time-qualified rules that override base rules
