Purpose

Application Requirements are part of the suite of application development tools used in the Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO). Requirements categorize and describe project and processing requirements for an application and the units of work within an application.

Typically, requirements are specified in an application profile using the Application Profiler, and created by the Application Accelerator. Requirements are available to associate with (link to) an application, specification, or flows as a project evolves.

See the PDN articles under Direct Capture of Objectives in the Implementation Methodology area.
