Favorites (System-User-MyRules form)Instances of the Favorites form define the rules available from the My Rules explorer ( 
). They personalize the portal access to rules and shortcuts. A favorite associates favorite and delegated rules with individual users (or with all members of an access group) and holds details for shortcuts.
Ordinarily, you create and add to instances of this class indirectly, not through the Favorites form. Use the form only for troubleshooting or deleting items. Access the Favorites form directly when you need to remove or update several rows at once. The available indirect methods are:
- For associations to favorite rules or delegated rules:

- Use the Add to Shortcuts button on the Run Rule form to create a shortcut to activity rules.
- Use My Shortcuts > Organize Shortcuts from your profile menu to work with your shortcuts.
) button on the toolbar to delegate a rule or save as a favorite. This is faster and more direct, and does not require knowledge of the object handle.To review rules delegated to yourself:
- For developers using the Designer Studio, select My Favorites > Edit Favorites from your profile menu.
- For users using the pyCaseManager portal, use the Options > My Rules menu to open the My Rules tab.
- For managers using the WorkManager portal, click the Dashboard bar and locate the My Rules area.
- For managers using the Manager portal, click the Dashboard bar and locate the Delegated Rules area.
From this area, you can click a rule's label to open the rule.
In releases before Version 6.2, the Favorites form was known as the My Rules form.
