Multi-treatment

Use the Send Multiple Treatments shape to configure treatments to be delivered across different channels (currently email, SMS, and Passbook) and specify the logic which determines the channel to use for delivery. When the Offer Flow executes, the system determines the correct delivery channel and delivers the treatment specified for this channel.

Completing the Treatments section

Treatment Origin

Choose between the following two options for determining the delivery channel:

Treatments

Use this group of settings to specify the treatments for delivery. You can select which of the channels are available for delivery by enabling the Outbound Email, Outbound SMS, and Passbook check boxes.

Outbound Email

Description

Treatment Name SmartPrompt, combo box, selection list Enter the name of the Email Treatment to be sent. If you enable Deliver Online, you must select an existing Email treatment since it determines the content of the email to be sent.
Key Code Enter a Marketing code to identify the treatment. You can output this value in the sent email and/or the output file/db, and can use it to track the performance of different treatments. If you specified a key code value on the selected Email Treatment, the system will auto-populate this field with that value.
Deliver Online Select this option to enable actual delivery of an email using the content in the specified Treatment Name. For this option, you must also specify the subject for the email in the Email Subject field. See Configuring the subject of an email.

Outbound SMS

If you specified a key code value on the selected SMS Treatment, the system will auto-populate this field with that value.
Deliver Online Select this option to enable actual delivery of an SMS message. Further, choose between the following options for message content:
  • Use Existing SMS - Select this option to use the content specified by the selected SMS treatment in the Treatment Name field.
  • Quick Create SMS - Select this option to directly specify the content for the SMS message. Specify this content in the Write Message field.
