Complete the Details tab to configure the output content, including both data attributes and static text, for this Output Template rule. For file Output Templates, you can also configure a header and a footer for the output file.
Use the icon to add a new row in the Fields section. Use each row to include a data field or static text. The rows specified in the Fields section together represent the output content that the system will write (into the output file or table) for each customer.

Format | File Output Templates only. Select the format to apply to the field. When you select a date/numeric field in the Content column, the system loads this field with the available set of date/numeric formats. |
These sections are only available for file Output Templates. Use the icon to add a new row in the header or the footer. You can add the following information as part of the file header or footer:
Free Text
- Enter the desired text in the Content field.File Name
- System will automatically insert the output file name.Record Count
- System will automatically insert the number of records at the time of finalization.Column Headings
- Enable the Include Column Heading Names in Output? check box to have the system include column headers (after all other headers) in the output file upon finalization.
This option is only available for the
Overwrite existing data
writing option.
