A Campaign Run (usually referred to as a run) represents a scheduled execution of the Campaign.

Runs are listed in the Run schedule section of the Campaign display. Click a run's row to see details about the run and its execution progress. See Reviewing run details.

The run's row may also include links for one of the following actions you may perform on the run:

Performing the Stop Action

Perform this action to issue a stop request for an active run.

Use the Add Note text area to enter your reason for stopping this run. Click Submit to submit the stop request.

The system will attempt to halt processing the run at the earliest possible instance. Once the system successfully stops the run, it sends the user a notification email containing the work id of the stopped run and a link to directly open the Campaign work object. The system also assigns the stopped run to this user by placing it in their work list.

Performing the Restart Action

This action is available for runs that have either failed or were stopped. After fixing any errors (such as configuration details), use this action to restart run execution.

Use the Add Note text area to enter your reason for restarting the run. Click Submit to initiate the restart.

Upon submitting this action, the system marks the current run as skipped, creates a new run, and starts processing it. The system also notifies the user via email that it has restarted the run.

Performing the Skip Action

This action is available for runs that have either failed or were stopped. Use this action to ignore a run and let the parent Campaign continue with the rest of its schedule.

Use the Add Note text area to enter your reason for skipping this run. Click Submit to skip the run.

Upon submitting this action, the system marks this run as skipped. The system also sends a notification email to the user. Skipped runs are shown in the run schedule till the Campaign display is refreshed.
