Use the Send SMS shape to configure an SMS message for delivery.
The following general configuration options are present on this shape:

| Key Code | Enter a Marketing code to identify the treatment. You can output this value in the sent SMS and/or the output file/db, and can use it to track the performance of different treatments. If you specified a key code value on the selected SMS Treatment, the system will auto-populate this field with that value. |
Delivery Options
Choose the output options for this shape. Enable one or more of the following output options:
Use Existing SMS - Select this option to use the content specified by the selected SMS treatment in the Treatment Name field.Quick Create SMS - Select this option to directly specify the content for the SMS message. Specify this content in the Write Message field.Wait After Sending
You can determine whether the system should wait after processing this shape. To enable a wait period on this shape, check the Wait check box and specify the desired values for the wait period. See Specifying a wait period.
Use the Advanced section to optionally configure the following SMS Account settings for the Outbound SMS account to use for delivering the SMS message. The system uses these setting when the Deliver Online mode is enabled.
Select between the following options:
Use Default SMS Account - Select this option to use the Default Outbound SMS account.Specify SMS Account - Select this option to specify the Outbound SMS account to use. Specify the desired account in the Account field.Use the Test Message section to test the content of the SMS treatment when it is delivered. This section behaves similarly to the Test Message tab on the SMS Treatment rule. See the common help for these two pages: Completing and using the Test Message tab
After configuring this section, you can also directly initiate the test via the Test this SMS right-click menu option.
