Platform transformation moves fast — and so does the expectation to keep up. The "Always Current with My PegaCloud" session, held on Friday, 13 February 2026 as part of Pega Cloud Summit 2026: From Blueprint to Go-Live, made the case that staying current on Pega Cloud is no longer a project — it's a built-in operational capability.
The session was presented by Supraja V, Product Manager for My PegaCloud, and moderated by Ivan Anikanov, Technical Solutions Director at Pegasystems. The recording is available to registered summit participants via the Pega Cloud Summit 2026 event page.
My PegaCloud: Your Command Centre for Cloud Operations
At the heart of the session was a live walkthrough of the My PegaCloud (MPC) portal — the centralized hub for all cloud operations. From viewing environment details and connectivity status to triggering restarts, downloading logs, and managing inbound IP allow lists, MPC is designed to give teams full visibility and self-service control over their Pega Cloud environments. Access is role-based, covering profiles such as Security Contact, Cloud Deployment Specialist and Cloud Operational Specialist, ensuring the right people have the right controls at their fingertips.
A standout capability is the Rolling Restart feature, which ensures near-zero downtime when a restart is needed. Users can trigger restarts immediately or schedule them during off-peak hours — and if a restart fails, the system automatically raises an incident for the Pega Support team to resolve. Similarly, granular log downloads (in JSON or text format), IP whitelisting via the inbound allow list, and flexible maintenance rescheduling (up to 15 days for hotfixes, 30 days for patches and DB updates) all put operational control directly in clients' hands.
The Infinity Update Journey: From Assessment to Go-Live
The second half of the session focused on the end-to-end Infinity Update journey — the structured path organisations follow to move environments to the latest Pega version with confidence.
The process begins with Assess Update, a newly introduced AI-powered feature within MPC that summarises release notices and flags withdrawn or deprecated features and enhancements across the Pega Platform and strategic applications. Paired with the Update Checker tool — currently available as a manual download from the Marketplace but soon to be automated directly within MPC — teams can identify exactly which rules will be affected before any changes are made.
Pega recommends using a cloned environment for UAT prior to updating production. Clones are provided free of charge, come with a five-day SLA (typically ready within 24 hours), and offer a 30-day testing window by default — giving teams ample time to validate without risk.
For production updates, MPC enforces a Go-No-Go checkpoint: after the rules update completes, the process pauses to allow confidence testing via an ephemeral URL before the data update proceeds. If confidence isn't there, the update can be rejected at this stage with no impact to the production environment. The closing message was clear — treating "staying current" as an ongoing capability, rather than a one-off event, is what separates resilient organisations from reactive ones.
Reflection
As the summit wrapped up, we invited a few reflections from leaders who led the sessions. And Supraja made a strong note on the shift in the depth of audience questions:
“When I was reflecting post Summit, I realized the most common shift in questions wasn’t about “what button to click” or “when to upgrade.” Customers were asking something deeper: what are the best practices behind each activity, and what internal mechanisms make those practices reliable. Whether it was restarts, updates, security changes, or maintenance, they wanted to understand the guardrails. That reinforced for me that My PegaCloud isn’t just about self service actions—it’s about making proven operational best practices and platform intelligence part of everyday cloud operations” – Supraja V.
