Pega as-a-Service Q3 2026: Release and Roadmap Highlights

On October 15, 2026, the Pega as-a-Service Expert Circle hosted its quarterly Pega Cloud release and roadmap webinar. I moderated the session, and Satya Mishra, Head of Pega Cloud Infrastructure, Updates, Security and Monitoring, took us through what is new and what is coming next. The session was for clients, partners and consulting teams who want to understand where Pega Cloud is heading, and it ended with a panel discussion and live Q&A. If you missed it, you can watch the recording here.

A faster, smarter Infinity '26

The session opened with the Infinity '26 release. Satya highlighted Infinity Studio, which brings developer agent choices such as Copilot or Claude together with Pega Blueprint best practices. He also covered governed orchestration of humans, bots and third-party AI agents, and Customer Engagement Studio in Customer Decision Hub for generating campaigns and real-time decisioning. On pricing, he explained that Pega charges a flat fee per case rather than per token, because of the token efficiency of its AI design.

Updates made easier with My Pega Cloud

The new Assess Update feature in My Pega Cloud scans the release notes against the product stack installed in your environment. It then summarizes the changes, rule impacts and upgrade considerations that matter to you. When you proceed, an updated clone environment is created. You can run your test suites there before you schedule the update of your other environments. Satya also presented the Innovation Sandbox Program, a dedicated Infinity '26.1 sandbox for up to 15 users for 90 days at no additional cost. You request it through msp.pega.com.

Global footprint and the EU Service Boundary

Pega Cloud now runs across 44 regions on AWS and GCP. Thailand, Indonesia and Paris/France were added recently, New Zealand (Auckland) is in progress, and Querétaro, Mexico is planned for next year. The EU Service Boundary is now live on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud in Brandenburg, Germany. Data storage, operations and resident personnel are all EU-based, and customers can bring their own keys. Pega CDH support is planned by the end of Q4. Enhanced Disaster Recovery, which gives full multi-region failover for mission-critical workloads, is now also available for CDH and on GCP.

Security, storage and observability

Satya covered inbound IP allow listing and studio lockdown. You can restrict Infinity Studio, Dev Studio, App Studio and Admin Studio to your developer IP ranges. A pilot of inbound mutual TLS starts in Q4. On storage, he stressed keeping case attachments in Cloud File Storage rather than in the database. A database downsizing capability is now available for migrated clients and for clients running large archival projects. Log streaming to Dynatrace is generally available on AWS and is expanding to GCP by the end of the year.

Deployment Manager and PDC

Deployment Manager as a Service now offers native test execution for Constellation applications, GenAI-assisted test generation and risk review, and a pilot for syncing masked production data to non-production environments. In Pega Diagnostic Center (PDC), the new Queue Processor monitoring, HTTP metrics and a redesigned CDH landing page give teams much better visibility.

Four short demos you can watch on their own

The webinar included four live demonstrations, and each is available as a separate video:

What the audience asked

The live Q&A covered granular role privileges in Deployment Manager as a Service, a view of all followed cases in PDC, and MCP support for Deployment Manager and PDC. Satya said MCP is not on this year's roadmap but he wants to evaluate it for next year. He also said Pega is open to adding roles and permissions once it knows what is missing. For PDC, he said a much richer version is planned, built around actionable insights. You can read the full discussion in the [Q&A conversation]([LINK: Q&A discussion post]).
