What's New in Pega Cloud: Key Highlights from Our Q2 2026 Release & Roadmap Webinar

Ivan Anikanov, 5 minute read

On July 16, 2026, the Pega as-a-Service Expert Circle hosted its Quarterly Release & Roadmap webinar — a 45-minute session packed with product updates, infrastructure news, and a look at what's coming next. Presenters Ivan Anikanov (Technical Solutions Director), Jakub Stando (Director of Product Management, Pega Cloud), and Meenakshi Nayak (Director of Product Management, Pega Cloud) walked attendees through a broad range of updates spanning global infrastructure, security, deployment tooling, observability, and generative AI. Missed it? Watch the recording here.

Global Infrastructure and Data Sovereignty

Pega Cloud continues to expand its global footprint, now operating across 44 regions. In the first half of 2026, support was added for Bangkok and Jakarta, with New Zealand, France, and Mexico planned for H2. For clients operating in Europe, the big news is the EU Service Boundary (EUSB) — a new AWS-hosted offering launched in early July 2026 and hosted in Germany. It ensures that data stays, is processed, and is managed exclusively by EU-resident personnel, addressing strict compliance and data sovereignty requirements. This is a new offering, not an automatic migration; existing clients should reach out to their account executives to explore it.

Enhanced Disaster Recovery for GCP

Pega's Enhanced Disaster Recovery (EDR) — the paid failover capability already available on AWS — is being extended to GCP clients in H2 2026, with further expansion planned for EU London and Australia on AWS. This gives more clients access to robust, high-availability options for their critical Pega environments.

Security and Connectivity Improvements

New Pega Cloud environments are now locked by default, with self-service tools available to restrict access to Studio portals. Looking ahead to H2, the roadmap includes inbound MTLS connectivity and native AWS MSK Kafka integration, enabling more secure and flexible integration patterns.

Storage and Observability

My Pega Cloud is getting smarter when it comes to storage management. In H2, clients will gain the ability to downscale storage and view aggregated usage statistics — such as attachments and SFTP directory sizes — directly in the portal. On the observability front, Dynatrace log streaming is live on AWS and coming to GCP in H2. A centralized Log Explorer viewer is also under consideration — feedback from the Expert Circle community will help prioritize it.

PDC AI Assistant

The Pega Diagnostic Center (PDC) AI Assistant — a generative AI-powered troubleshooting tool — is on track to reach General Availability later this year. This is a significant step forward in making self-service diagnostics faster and smarter for Pega Cloud clients.

Deployment Manager and Update Assessment

Deployment Manager is receiving a strong set of enhancements, including GitHub workflow integration, a pilot for masked case data migration from production to non-production environments, and native support for Pega Application Tests (both UI and API). Meanwhile, the upcoming Update Assessment Report in My Pega Cloud will help clients identify mandatory actions and potential rule breaks before upgrading to a new Infinity version — reducing risk and surprises during updates.

Pega Infinity 26

Released on July 14, 2026, Pega Infinity 26 introduces a per-resolved-case pricing model (no token costs) and integrates Pega Blueprint with a new AI coding assistant. It's a meaningful step in making Pega development faster and more cost-predictable.
