Overview
In the current deployment process, Jenkins jobs trigger daily deployments across both Non-Production and Production environments. Due to the volume and variety of pipelines, deployments often occur during business hours, risking disruptions to critical services through restarts, database changes, and flow modifications. These interruptions can negatively impact user experience and potentially lead to revenue loss.
To address this, a custom task has been implemented to validate business hours before proceeding with a deployment. Integrated into the deployment pipeline, this task—"Validate Business Hours"—automatically blocks deployments during defined working hours. This solution enhances system stability, minimizes operational risk, and ensures smoother user experiences during peak business times.
