Custom Font not reflecting correctly on IE 11

Summary
On adding a custom font on the Application skin rule, the font does not render correctly on the Internet Explorer 11 browser.

Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.
Internet Explorer 11 Web browser did not download the fonts.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Enable Font Download in the Internet Options.
Navigate to Internet Options > Security tab > Local Intranet > Custom Level > Downloads > Font Download > Enable.
