Overview
The Vulnerable Registration Services (VRS) Component is a reusable Pega application module for managing vulnerable individuals in the UK. It offers four APIs to search, register, and retrieve vulnerability and contact preference data. The component integrates with VRS backend services via a clean abstraction layer and includes packaged rulesets and classes for seamless use. Designed as plug-and-play, it requires configuration of service endpoints, authentication, and extension points. Built on Pega 8, it supports easy deployment, versioning, and future enhancements such as improved error handling, reporting, and broader data integration.
