Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment:
MIME type mapping was incorrect on the system.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change: 

1. Add MIME type in web.xml.
   
   <mime-mapping> 
   <extension>gif</extension> 
   <mime-type>image/gif</mime-type> 
   </mime-mapping>
    
2. Restart the server.
