Recents section isn't updating with the newly created cases



User performed upgrade of the application from PRPC 5.5 to Pega 7.2.1.

In the Recent section as part of left navigation in Header_left screen layout to show the newly created cases and the cases accessed through worklist/workbasket.

Cases accessed through worklist/workbasket come up in the Recent's section as desired but the ones which are newly created don't show up in the Recent section unless explicitly accessed through worklist/workbasket again.

The design time configuration for Recent's section consists of pyRecents section with page source being Declare_pxRecents.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In the portal add the pyRecents section with page source being Declare_pxRecents.
2. Create a case in smart dispute application. This newly created work item won't  be seen in the Recent section.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error that it is an expected behavior.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

To see the recently created Work object, user must keep it open then Recent section will be updated.
