SA-35873

It is working fine on Firefox and Chrome browsers.

In Safari and Internet Explorer, user is just seeing a blank page in both browsers instead of the Mashup Gadget.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Use Pega Mashup on Internet Explorer or Safari browser without prgateway.

Root Cause

Internet Explorer and Safari are not setting up cookies when they detect cross domain HTTP request even if they are asked to do so.

Resolution

Apply HFix-32936.

For Internet Explorer, a HTTP header "P3P:CP" is set. Then Internet Explorer, set cookies appropriately.

For Safari, users will be prompted to accept cookies for having a better experience.

This direct click to the Pega Mashup website will allow cookies to be set by Safari browser.

Note: The header approach does not work for Safari browser.
