Rules in branch ruleset version are not called when checked-in

SA-45991

Summary

There are branch rulesets defined on the application, and the rules that are checked-in are not called at run time.

Checked out rules from the same branch ruleset version are being called at run time. The system ignores the rules checked in the branch ruleset versions.

Error Messages

Not applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. When rules are checked-out, observe they are picked up at run-time.
2. Check-in the same rules.
3. Observe these are no longer picked up at run-time.

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.

Resolution

This RuleSet was originally set to use "Ruleset Validation".

Changing this value to "Application Validation" mode resolves the issue, and allows the rules to be picked up correctly at run-time.
