Summary

Chart controls using a pie chart displays data in ascending order, rather than in the same order as the source input.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure Report definition with chart.
2. For Chart, configure some legends.
3. Embed the chart in a section by by using pxChart control, observe that legends are not displayed in configured order.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change: 

In report viewer, the legends order is based on data set or configured order.

If data displayed in descending or ascending order, then receptive legends also displayed in descending or ascending order. However, when report definition embedded in section, then legends are displaying in alphabetical order.​
So to display the legends as per configuration, one must use chart control which is used in report viewer.

After replacing the pxChart control to chart that is, report viewer control, the issue gets resolved and it works as expected.
