Correspondence rules automatically add <br/> and &nbsp



When you create a correspondence rule and save or preview the rule, the system adds an extra <br /> and &nsbp (HTML break and space) tags into the source code.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an email correspondence rule with multi-line text and simple formatting.
  2. Save the rule.
  3. Click options and preview.
  4. Close the rule and reopen it.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is that the RULE-UTILITY-FUNCTION PZCONTROL PZGENERATERICHTEXTEDITOR adds the <br /> tag and &nbsp.


This issue is resolved by hotfix item HFix-20165.
