Modal dialog is not in fixed position on an iframe
SA-28775
Summary
When triggering a modal dialog, it appears centered within the overall length of the document, rather than centered in the visible area. This requires users to scroll back up in order to see the modal dialog before they can progress.
Error Messages
Not Applicable
Steps to Reproduce
- Fill out the questionnaire of the form to increase document length.
- Click the cancel link in the form which trigger modal dialog window.
Root Cause
In iframe, modal dialogue window always opens in the center of the document and not in center of visible screen. As IAC has been in use and IAC put its content in an iframe; modal window does not come in center of visible window.
Resolution
An enhancement request, FDBK-16675 has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
Provided a custom script which resolves the issue partially.
<script>
$("button[name='DigitalDisputeSubmit_pyWorkPage_1']").click(function(){$(".modal-align-cell").css("vertical-align", "bottom"); $("#modalWrapper").css("margin-bottom", "350px");});
</script>
