Summary

When using chart control to show the dashboard with report definition,the drill down functionality is not working with chart control.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is software use/operation error. 

Current product version does not support this feature. Drill down option does not work when embedded in a portal (Section).
This issue is not a bug, but a functionality requirement.
Through Report Browser, you can see both the Image and Interactive Chart which can be drilled down, but that the "Chart" control included in a section(portal) does indeed only show the chart, which you are using on your dashboard.

Resolution

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1.You can get to the data through the "show data" option and then drill down from your dashboard/report data(Using 'Chart' as control name).
You can check this by adding and running the same report through the report browser that you are showing using the Chart control.

By adding a custom button below chart on the dashboard that says "Drill Down Into Report".
2.Configure the button's action set to run the report definition, so that the report opens up into a new modal window. At this point, the drilldown functionality works.
