Error in the log files due to remote Case Type Class Type

SA-46890

Summary

The pyDefault Case Type Rule in the ABC-Remote-Class Class is configured to be a Remote Case which points to the OtherFramework-Work Class.

OtherFramework-Work Class is not part of the installed stack and so is generating an error in the logs.

It is unclear why this definition is being accessed at all as it does not form any part of the application.

Error Messages

2017-10-10 22:39:23,779 [abc] [TABTHREAD3] [ ] [ PegaRULES:07.10] (res.CacheDataToCandidateMapper) WARN user - Unable to load RULE-OBJ-CASETYPE OtherFramework-Work PYDEFAULT #20161009T000429.246 GMT due to Database-BadClassDef OtherFramework-Work; This may cause the wrong rule to run during rule execution.

Steps to Reproduce

Install a PRPC framework which contains integration to another framework via remote cases and this other framework is not installed.

Root Cause

The warning happens when PRPC tries to add this instance in a cache.

So due the failure to get class OtherFramework-Work, the rule is not loaded in the cache which does not have an impact as it is not used.

Resolution

Do ignore the warning.
