SA-61180

Summary

After an upgrade from Pega 7.1.8 to Pega 7.3.1, Data Pages are not loading properly for auto populated properties with reference to Data Pages.

Data pages do not load correctly for autopopulated properties with reference to data pages.

Error Messages

ID cannot be null in Clipboard and Tracer

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a work object in Pega 7.1.8 having auto populated properties that refer to a data page.
  2. Update from Pega 7.1.8 to Pega 7.3.1
  3. Open the work object in Pega 7.3.1

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
When a work object is created in Pega 7.1.8 and reopened in Pega 7.3.1. After an update, the parameterized autopopulate trigger failed because it could not pass the parameters to the referring data page. In the old BLOB, parameters are present in pzAutoPopulateMap and not in pzAutoPopulatedKeys. The code to fall back to pzAutoPopulateMap in case pzAutoPopulatedKeys was removed as part of the BLOB optimization.

Resolution

Apply HFix-45273.
