Integer displayed with comma

SA-3011

Summary

Integer value is displayed with comma seperator after upgrade to v6.3sp1

Error Messages

No error on screen. Comma introduced for integers with 4 digits

Steps to Reproduce

Number value entered in a field, displaying with comma in read only mode.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a backwards compatibility defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
PRPC 6.1SP2 don't apply any type of format for the Number values entered in fields with no specific control and displays as plain text. whereas 6.3SP1 applies the Number format for the Number values entered in fields with no specific control and displays comma in between digits.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local change:

Using pxNumber control for read only fields and configuring the format type as 'None' in pxNumber control panel displays the number values with out comma.
