AES 7.1.7 ExecuteGetIndexInfo: Error sending to connection

SA-18145

Summary

AES 7.1.7 ExecuteGetIndexInfo: Error sending to connection leads to recurring error messages “ERROR - ExecuteGetIndexInfo: Error sending to connection. Please check connection in node: …” in the PegaRULES log file.

Error Messages

2015-06-22 20:29:48,632 [fault (self-tuning)'] [ STANDARD] [ AES:07.10] (.PegaAES_Data_IndexInfo.Action) ERROR - ExecuteGetIndexInfo: Error sending to connection. Please check connection in node: e475078bac29131204b08cb2d831ee38 Conn: http://xxxx.yyyy.zzz:qqqq/prweb/PRSOAPServlet

Steps to Reproduce

Configure a monitored node against a AES7.1.7 server.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules - It is the logging the error message instead of exiting the activity

The error is generated from RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY PEGAAES-DATA-INDEXINFO EXECUTEGETINDEXINFO at step 5. This step should be conditional and only be called when there is a SOAP connection problem. JUMP condition at step 4 has been incorrectly implemented, step 5 will always be called even if a valid connection has been established.

Resolution

Apply SE-25428.JAR
