AES71[Report]Incorrect time displays in AES reports
SA-3379
Summary
Using AES 7.1 on Pega 7.1.6. On the AES server the time that is shown in the reports is 6 hours before Swedish local time.
I have verified the following:
* The report data that has been generated in the AES servers MS SQL Server 2008 tables has the correct date/time values
* The server uses the correct timezone settings/locales (European/Stockholm) (That is GMT+1)
On my Windows PC (Internet Explorer 11) my timezone setting is UTC+01.00 Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rom, Stockholm, Wien.
Format is Swedish, short date: yyyy-MM-dd (as it should be), week starts at: Monday (Swedish/European standard).
Place: Sweden.
Info about the system:
Windows Server 2008 R2 64 Bit
Jboss EAP 6.1.1
Pega PRPC 7.1.6
AES 7.1
Error Messages
No error message.
Steps to Reproduce
Logging in as AESManager, click reporting and All Alerts. Drilling down to any type of alert, looking at the column "CREATED". The date is correct, but the time is -6 hours (A log entry with the pxCreateDateTime value of 2014-10-21 16:00 is shown as 2014/10/21 08:00).
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is software use/operation error. The timezone setting at the Operator profile level was incorectly set.
Resolution
The explanation for this behavior is as follows:The timezone setting at the Operator profile level was incorectly set. By updateing the Operator profile timezone to the required local timezone, the report correctly displays the correct time.
