Appointments made below red Time Now line do not display



In the Pega Sales Representative portal, adding an appointment below the red Time Now line, truncates the view and users are unable to view the details of the appointment (Smart Info). When attempting to open the appointment to view the details, the option to select the display for the appointment does not trigger.

The appointments can be opened only by clicking just above the red Now line.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Sales Representative portal
  2. Create an appointment just after the red Time Now line 
  3. Open Daily view in the Appointments Tab

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

pzCalendarView Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) file has a CSS class '.pg-calendarview-timedevents-col-nowmarker' which displays the Now line and overlaps with the immediate appointment. Hence, the process stops the OnClick and hover events.
