Asterisk Symbol(mandatory) is getting displayed even in readonly

Summary
We have sections that need to be displayed in readonly and editable modes conditionally in which there are mandatory fields.
When the section is displayed in read-only mode the mandatory expression(asterisk symbol) shows up on the UI.
We did a work around of adding a required when condition "pxIsEditable". But we have a lot of such sections in which have many mandatory fields.

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules :-pzGenerateLabelCellContent :added the condition of isCellReadOnly.
