Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Write an activity to auto generate a file from the application and attach it to the case.
  2. Check the attachment section for newly attached file.
  3. Click the Advanced View link in the attachment section and add or remove an attachment.

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. HFix-24122 modified the refresh logic for the D_AttachmentList data page so it is no longer reloaded once per interaction. The attachment activity must remove the pyAttachments property and D_AttachmentList data page so it will reload when referenced again.

To refresh the attachments section when auto generating an attachment from a custom activity, add a step in the activity to remove the D_AttachmentList data page and pyAttachments property so it will be reloaded. The Work-.pxCreatePDF activity shown below can be used as an example.

Use the Java code from step 2 and put it into your activity or one can call the @baseclass.pzRemoveAttachments activity.

To refresh the attachments section when using the Advanced View link, see the instructions in the Support Article referenced below..
