SA-32238

Summary

When user set Authentication/RedirectGuests as True or comment it out from prconfig.xml - SSO does not work.

However, when user set Authentication/RedirectGuests as False - SSO works, but httpsPRWebLDAP1 login page gets distorted.

Error Messages

SSO failure - Unauthenticated or not available.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set Authentication/RedirectGuests as True or comment it out from prconfig.xml  and notice that SSO does not work.
  2. Set Authentication/RedirectGuests as False, and notice that SSO works but httpsPRWebLDAP1 login page gets distorted.

Root Cause

A third-party product issue: specifically F5 load balancer iRule configuration.

Resolution

Make the following change to the operating environment:

cookie_path variable in one iRule was not defined once corrected, both SSO scenarios work irrespective of the 'Authentication/RedirectGuests' prconfig setting (should use default in both cases).
