Autocomplete dropdown menu floats on scrolling the mouse

Summary



The autocomplete dropdown menu that displays on the screen, floats on scrolling the mouse or pressing the down arrow key. This occurs if the screen has a scrollbar.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a section containing an autocomplete control with the source as a Data page, Clipboard page, or report definition.
  2. At run time, place the cursor on the autocomplete field and press the Down arrow on the keyboard to trigger the dropdown menu. Do not select any item.
  3. Move the mouse scroll. The dropdown menu floats over the screen.


Root Cause



In the Customer Service Interaction, the scroll occurred on a section DIV. Hence, the popup was not repositioned automatically.


Resolution



Apply the following hotfixes:
  1. HFix-48605
  2. HFix-49232
