Summary

On a mobile device, the autocomplete displays some results when the user first enters characaters into the field. Even if the user completely deletes characters, some characters are leftover causing it to still show results. (Upon losing focus of the field shows an empty input field reflecting successful deletion, but that is not what is displayed while actively deleting)

The number of characters leftover match the minimum search characters configuration. In this case it is set to 1.
