Benefit set is not displayed in proper order

SA-19508

Summary

Ranks are given to each benefit when created. The rank specified is not reflected when the product template is created.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Benefit set.
2. Provide a ranking order.
3. Create a product template.
4. Use the Benefit set created earlier.

Root Cause

Rank does not decide the sorting order in Product Template. If there are any duplicate codes and code groups, then the benefit with the highest rank will be used in benefit determination.
If there are two benefits A and B in the benefit set with duplicate codes in them, then rank will decide (in benefit determination) which benefit’s code has to be applied and there by the cost shares, and other such factors (ideally duplicate codes, most likely, are not to be allowed across benefits).

Resolution

Follow the PCS user guide. It is an expected behavior.
