BIX trying to write to wrong schema of target database

Summary



User has created a extract rule by configuring the database table present in new schema (otherthan pegarules and pegadata schemas) and while run the extract rule, the system throws error saying that the table is not present in the target database.
For testing, they have created a similar table in pegadata schema, it extracted successfully. But the same is not working with table in new schema.

User has verified the PDN and found the below article:

User requires the hotfix "HFix-21237" to fix this issue in Pega 7.1.7.

Error: table not present in the target database


Steps to Reproduce



For testing Pega GCS created a extract rule by configuring the database table present in new schema (other than Pegarules and Pegadata schemas) and while run the extract rule, the system throws error saying that the table is not present in the target database.


Root Cause



Data Source configuration for target database missing in config file. This is required to insert the Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) extract data to target database.

Resolution



Add the target database details in prconfig file, to resolve the issue.
