Broken pipe error on using SAML2.0 authentication service on IE

Summary



Broken pipe error occurs when using the SAML2.0 authentication service on the Edge or Internet Explorer browser.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure the authentication service for SAML 2.0 against the Shibboleth Identity Provider (IdP)
  2. Access the application using the Edge or Internet Explorer browser. Error occurs


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. 

Resolution



Apply HFix-46046.
