buttons are pushed off the screen in 'Flow in Modal Dialog'

Summary



Launch a flow in modal dialog. a perform harness in the flow show search results in repeat grid. If nothing is selected from search result, then page message is set to stop advancing the flow. first submit without selecting any search result. now search again such that more records are returned compared to previous search, notice that location that ''Enter' and 'Cancel' buttons in modal dialogue are pushed off the screen. however they are accessible via tabbing through browser elements but cannot be accessed visually. There is no scroll bar.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch a flow in modal dialog
  2. Configure section that allows search and show the result in repeat grid.
  3. make the search results selectable & user must select atleast a row from search result to advance the flow
  4. In first attempt, don't select a row from search result and click 'Enter'. there will be an error in the screen.
  5. In second attempt, search again such that more rows are returned that previous search. notice that buttons are push out of the modal dialog.

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. 

Resolution



This issue is resolved by enabling paging in repeat grid.
