Can't create, modify, save Calender rule with browser locale en-AU

SA-11210

Summary

After users set the language to English(Australia) en-AU in their Internet Explorer browser settings, they cannot open any Calendar rule or create a new rule.

Error Messages

Failure opening the Rule Instance.
String 17:00 is not a valid time.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Set the browser language to English(Austraila) [en-AU]
2. Try to open any Calendar instance from PRPC.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
The time format used in Data-Admin-Calendar.pyDefault Datatransform rule. is “17:00” and “8:00”. This format is not a valid time for all the locales. So when users try to open the Calendar rule, it throws the error “String 17:00 is not a valid time”.

Resolution

Change the time formats from “17:00” to “170000” and from  "8:00" to "080000".
The Data-Admin-Calendar.pyDefault is an available rule.
Resave this data transform to your application-specific ruleset and change the start and end timings.
