Steps to Reproduce

- Click the "Save" button.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Pega provides an extension data transform rule “pyPropositionDataConstants” that allows users to configure the list of properties that are to be considered constants, that is, properties that are available in the rule data, but are not user inputs. These properties will get inputs from external sources.
This data transform is extended with such properties that will have inputs to the decision data rule from the offer rule.
This works fine as long as the rule is auto-generated.
The issue is with the custom form. When a user converts these rules to custom, then during the rule saving process a validation is triggered to verify if all properties from the pxPropertyReferences page list exist in any of the sections referenced in the decision data rule's user interface.
Resolution
Add the properties throwing the errors to the pyEditElement section in a Dynamic Layout and mark its visibility condition as never visible to bypass the validation issue.
This issue is fixed in Pega 7.3.
