The check box is disappearing on clicking

Summary



While user were clicking on the “I do not have an email address” checkbox below, system displays an alert message “Please Provide your e-mail address if you have one” on a popup screen. When users were clicking on the “Ok” button on the popup, the popup was getting closed the checkbox was disappearing (invisible) from the screen, after it get refreshed.

Steps to Reproduce



Launch portal then click next on introduction then the screen comes where check box is checked.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is software use/operation error. Issue was not reproducible locally and suggested the developers to re-check their when conditions and design.


Resolution



Displaying the alert message on the main screen itself, NOT on the popup. Issue resolved and the checkbox is visible
