Child case opens in same the tab as the parent case



In Pega Customer Service, a child case from an Intent task does not open in a new tab.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an Intent task under an Interaction. This task has a child case.
  2. Open the child case. The child case does not open in a new tab.

Root Cause

This behavior is as per Pega product design.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

The Customer Service framework does not support a child case launched from an Intent task.
