Circumstanced Perform Harness Rule not rendering



With Pega Customer Service (PCS) 7.2.1 on Pega 7.2 inconsistent behavior is seen regarding the rendering of Circumstanced Perform Harness rules.  

One particular Intent-Task launch will have the Circumstanced Harness rule render but then when launching a different but similar Intent Task and then the Base version renders. The Circumstanced Rule looks at the .pxDeviceType and the Portal Name, which does not change when launching these two tasks.

This issue effects every Mobile Self Service user.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Login to the application.
  2. Launch the "Mobile Self Service Portal" User Portal. The main Composite should appear.
  3. Click on "Pay Bill" or "Update profile" Intent-Task in the left window.
  4. The base version of PegaCA-Work.Perform Harness renders in the main window not the expected Circumstanced version.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
