Summary



Clicking the Cancel button displays the JavaScript warning lightbox instead of the modal dialog.


Error Messages



You are about to Close an open work item which has changes that have not been saved.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a work object
  2. Enter the details in Perform mode
  3. Click the Cancel button


Root Cause



An issue in the custom application code or rules.The requirement is to hide the default check box when the Cancel button is clicked.


Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Add the below code in the non-autogenerated section and

    <script>

    pega.u.d.gDirtyOverride=false;

    </script>

  2. Include the section into the portal harness
