Column data does not display until user clicks a row
SA-74428
Summary
Data for a particular column does not display until the user clicks a row on the custom data type's Records tab.
Error Messages
Not Applicable
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a data type
- Create a column in the database for a property of that data type manually
- Add data from the Records Explorer in the data type
- Refresh the Records Explorer. The column value is not present
- Click a row. The data displays
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules. While creating a column for a property from the database, there must be a mapping of that column and the property on the External Mapping tab of the class definition of the data type. If this condition is not fulfilled the property must be optimized from the Pega Designer Studio.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Add mapping for the column and the property on the External Mapping tab of the class definition of the data type.
