Concurrent submits open Service cases in new tabs



In the Interaction Portal, concurrent submits open Service cases in new tabs. This occurs when using Customer Process Manager (CPM) 7.1.3 on Pega 7.1.8.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch an Interaction and a Service case.
  2. Open another Interaction from the background.
  3. Submit the Service case. The Service case opens in the new Interaction. The focus does not switch to the first interaction.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

When an interaction or a service process is closed while switching to a new process or interaction, a review harness is displayed.


Apply the following hotfixes:
  1. HFix-35247
  2. HFix-40051
