In-correct CSS styles are applied on portal elements

Summary



The application has been upgraded from PRPC 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.1.7. User has a custom skin applied on a portal. When the portal is launched, all the input controls have a background color of yellow by default which is not the expected behavior. The same portal when opened in PRPC 6.2 SP2, has correct CSS styles for the inputs fields and other controls.

Error Messages



No error messages.

Steps to Reproduce



The issue was not re-producible in-house. Following steps were performed:

a) Created an application in PRPC 6.2 SP2. 
b) Created custom skin rule and appled it to a portal.
c) Upgraded the application to Pega 7.1.7.
d) Launched the same portal and checked thebehavior.


Root Cause



Opened the custom skin rule in Pega 7.1.7.  This showed an incorrect color value specified for the text input fields. Due to this, wrong color was shown when portal was launched.

Resolution



The styling for input controls were corrected. Instructed user to perform similar steps if issue exists for other components/styles.
