Root Cause
ActiveX is a legacy technology with significant security vulnerabilities that is no longer supported by Microsoft. This issue is a limitation set by Microsoft and they did not provide any substitutes for VisualBasic-6 built-in functions after 2009. However, this scenario occurs on Windows-10 + IE-11 combination. Since 2015, this environment has been active so there is no appropriate fix for this existing built-in old dlls.
Resolution
- First use Windows-10 Snipping Tool to capture the IE-11 screen.
- Use PRPC screen capture control to capture the snipping tool screen. Update the note description.
- Observe the captured, actual IE-11 screen shot.
