CTILink error after new install

SA-11598

Summary

Getting missing DLL on Window 2008 server.

Error Messages

Popup error box:

CTILink.exe - System Error

The program can't start because ATL71.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Steps to Reproduce

install Pegacall 5.5sp1

Root Cause

The DLL that is missing is related to Visual Studio (most likely visual C++) and is not something that Pega would supply.

You may inquire with the admin who supports that windows box to see if they can install the distributable dll.

Resolution

Install DLL or visual studio package that contains the DLL.
