The data element label displays red instead of the Channel label

Summary
The data element label displays red instead of the Channel label, even though the values are read-only. This occurs when selecting a blank value from the dropdown for the Missing Element channel.
The client side required validation fired on the Channel field on the right hand side. The error message displayed correctly on the RHS field. However, the label displayed red for the LHS field.

Steps to Reproduce
Select a blank value from the dropdown for the Missing Element channel.Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Apply HFix-43786.
