"databases is not supported" error on executing report

Summary



"databases is not supported" error in report if classes connected to different database are used in report.


Error Messages



Reports with classes mapped to different "databases is not supported  "


Steps to Reproduce



1) Launch the manager portal.
2) Click on operator profile >bulk actions.
3) Select process and provide filters as shown below:


4) Click on filter cases to see, and observe that no results are getting fetched.

Root Cause



This will fail, if user maintains different databases for the classes involved in report. 

The custom class OrgName-FW-AppName-Work is mapped to a custom database, and Assign-WorkList is mapped to PEGADATA.pc_assign_worklist. The Data-Admin-DB-Name associated with the Data-Admin-DB-Table for these two classes has been different.

Resolution



Maintain same databases or upgrade to Pega 7.2 , where this restriction has been relaxed.
