DataType Export displays column name as property name

SA-56259

Summary

While exporting the data type, Excel does not display the column name as the property label or description. Instead, it displays the column name as the property name.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a data type using data explorer.
  2. Add records to it.
  3. Export the data type from Designer Studio or from a delegated rule.

Root Cause

Not Applicable

Resolution

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

API exports the property ID and not the label because when importing the same CSV, the import wizard auto-maps the CSV column headers with the property IDs in the class.
Import API requires the property ID, not property label in the CSV column header.
